I know it's Saturday. But I went in to school to work anyhow. I was there about 4 hours. When I came out, I found a note on my windshield from a parent of my students. It said:
We appreciate you. You are a fantastic teacher!
I think they may have made my life by leaving it for me to find! I love my job and I don't do it for the thanks. But I do think that when I am old, in a nursing home, and drooling in my soup, I will still be remembering this day!
